  • Gangnam style has taken the world in its reins, with its special horse dance style. Apart from being the most liked video on YouTube, the gangnam fever has also caught up with many reality shows and SLN to have PSY as the guest of honor. Some really creative people on Facebook, have dedicated a lot of their time in making a Gangnam style facebook emotion, based on the fact that facebook allows you to use profile pictures as emotions.

The emotion works when a series of profile pictures, containing the required part of the picture, are added in a series to make up the entire emotion. Since facebook allows only 1px x 1px of a graphic profile picture to be displayed in chat, this emotion uses a series of profiles to make up the emotion.

The code required to display the emotion is:

    [[490550790968952]] [[490550800968951]] [[490550807635617]]
    [[490550820968949]] [[490550837635614]] [[490550847635613]]
    [[490550857635612]] [[490550867635611]] [[490550877635610]]
    [[490550884302276]] [[490550894302275]] [[490550900968941]]
    [[490550914302273]] [[490550924302272]] [[490550937635604]]
    [[490550947635603]] [[490550954302269]] [[490550967635601]]

Each of these profiles, however, cannot be linked to an actual profiles and each of these 1px pictures look like this. However, this does not display fluidly in Facebook messages, as the line height is more than that of chat. (You’ll know when you see it).

This does not, however, work with any comments or statuses in Facebook and works only with messages in Facebook – including chat of course.
