If you own the latest lumia set of Nokia phones, and if you have a 3D printer with you (which costs about $2,200), then you are in for some luck. Nokia has released the technical details for you to 3D print your own back cover.

Nokia has released the mechanical drawings for 3D printing the backcase of Lumia 820 phone. With these drawings and a 3D printer, you can create your own backcase for your phone – by modifying slight details – like color or extra designs, etc.
Currently, details for only lumia 820 is released. There may be more drawings to be released for other versions of Nokia phones, as Nokia tends to support such development movements.
For those who are unaware, 3D printing is a technique in which you can “print” a 3D object by slowly adding layers to it with the help of a 3D printer.
