If you stumble across any photo that you've wanted to know if its fake or not, then all you need is a photo-editor like Photoshop, or even GIMP to identify its validity within minutes.
First step, open your image editor. In this case, I use Photoshop. Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation.
Set Hue to the least value and Saturation to the highest value. Now, slowly vary the "Lightness" of the image. Keep altering until some parts of the image don't match with the other.
If you don't have the costly Photoshop, then do use the free open-source GIMP to do the task for you. Go to Tools > Color Tools > Hue -Saturation to get the options. The rest is the same.
In the above image, the added hair stands out from the rest of the photo. Viola, its a fake one.
